Juliet is a multidisciplinary designer, maker, and researcher.
As someone who has practiced with many materials; textiles, metal, wood, casting, and digital modeling, she integrates her knowledge of material integrity with anything that is designed to be fabricated into reality.
In her own practice, she uses material as a parameter to inform her process, while challenging the design to integrate with our natural ecosystems. She enjoys developing projects that explore somatic, social, and environmental contexts.
As founder of the Material Exchange at Parsons School of Design, she aims to explore design thinking that is four dimensional, and thinking critically about “waste” as a resource.
She facilitates workshops as well as leading projects that call for conceptual thinking, technical design, fabrication, and installation. For inquires and contracts, please contact juliet@juvaro-studio.com
